So far so great!

These sound fantastic. Amazing for getting work done in your own world in public spaces or drowning out distracting home office noises or just listening to audiobooks or music while cooking or doing chores. They drop out the background noise floor very effectively so you can listen at a low volume level and preserve your hearing while experiencing subtle details. Some people complained about the smell in other reviews. I have a very sensitive nose and am very cautious about off-gassing, and these had no smell problem at all.I was a little disappointed initially as I learned that bluetooth degrades the audio quality for calls (it has to split the same amount of bandwidth for two audio streams - your voice and the incoming audio - so it halves the quality). But there are workarounds if that bothers you when on calls. 1) use the headphones in wired mode with in-line mic, 2) remain wireless but just use the internal microphone of your laptop or phone if the app allows input device selection that's different from the output, 3) keep the headphones in wireless mode, but plug a $5 lavalier mic into your laptop and clip it onto your shirt 4) just deal with the degraded audio for the duration of the wireless call. IMPORTANT NOTE: after the wireless call is over you may have to manually switch the input back to internal microphone to get your high-quality wireless audio back. This happened to me with MacOS.The 2 device connectivity (Android phone and Macbook) has been pretty good. Sometimes I have to manually tell it to reconnect to my laptop or phone when I turn them on, sometimes it connects automatically. It's a minor inconvenience. To switch between the two devices you pause the audio on the current device and then start playing some audio on the other device. Sometimes I have to press pause and play a couple of times before it switches, but it's no big deal. It never will play both simultaneously. It's one or the other. The battery life has been phenomenal. All in all I'm thrilled with the value here and the huge upgrade that these are for my productivity and listening enjoyment. I also believe that they will help save my hearing in the long run by allowing me to keep the volume low while still hearing all the details.

Love these Headphones

Seeking to purchase headphones that included certain features such as noise cancelling, I was also interested in a price that didn't break the bank. The Soundcore Anker Life Q35 Multimode Active Noise Cancelling Headphones met my objectives. They look, sound great, are packaged nicely. Included with the purchase is a zippered pouch for those times when the headphones are not in use. Also included is an app that is quite handy for switching between noise cancelling and other settings, employing an equalizer, and so on.What proved a challenge initially was getting the headphones to connect via Bluetooth to my PC. I purchased (separately) a USB dongle and, despite following setup instructions to a tee, could not achieve a connection. A second purchase of the same dongle, completed to confirm the first was not defective, also proved impossible.Soundcore customer service and technical support was stellar through this, swift to respond, offering helpful suggestions. Almost immediately they offered to send a replacement of the headphones. Not convinced, however, that the headphones were at fault, I instead pursued an alternative, a device that plugs into a USB port and does not rely upon Windows 10 drivers. It worked!I am very pleased with these headphones, and with Soundcore and Anker overall.

Battery life is incredible

I love these headphones. I’ve had them for a couple of months and have only charged them twice (I don’t use them on an extended basis)

Happy with purchase

I'm really enjoying wearing this around the house. The battery life is very good. Sound quality is good, not great - I don't expect them to be at this price point anyway. Most importantly these are very comfortable. I have very large ears and I don't feel any discomfort or swamp ears while wearing these. The noise cancelling works great. I recommend these headphones if you just need headphones that are have decent sound, comfortable to wear, have great battery life and are affordable.

Good-sounding headphones at an appealing price!

As soon as these arrived, it was very simple to set up and start using. I know my phone supports the LDAC codec, so I was excited to try them out with the Tidal app. The audio has decent bass, though it was a little uncomfortable at first. I downloaded the Soundcore app to fine-tune the audio, and it now sounds excellent! The noise-cancelling feature will do the job, and it's good at it! There's also a transparency mode, which I think is clever and useful because it helps me be aware of my surroundings if I'm at a busy area. Even though I would probably use these more at home, it think it'd be great for the bus. My only complaint would be regarding the headphone-removal feature. It's a little flaky at times when it thinks I have the headphones off, and the music would stop playing while I still have them on. There were some reviews mentioning the "bad" smell of the headphones, but I have to say I kinda like it. It will fade away after a while, but it's nice to know how new headphones smell like lol. Overall, these headphones sound great thanks to its LDAC support and it's at a good price considering other LDAC headphones can easily go over $300!
